Wanting another baby

So today my 4 year old asked if we could go to the park but I said not today because I’ve got a poorly tummy (monthly, it hits me hard) she hugged my belly and asked if I’ve got another baby in there so I said no I’m just poorly. She then got upset and said she wants us to have another baby because she wants someone...

Dream to be a stay at home mum lol

Hello! My little one is 17 months and I am so lucky I got to spend a full 14 months with her at home on maternity leave and even luckier that she goes to a nursery where my mum (her nanny) works so I know she is well looked after while I am at work and I can get regular updates. However, it’s been 3 months now an...

When do nights get easier?

Just having a rant.. but finding nights/mornings sooo so difficult! Now husband is back at work, it feels like there is so much pressure on me to get through the night (and try not to wake him as he works full time!) but I’m so bad at being woken up. When she starts making noises, it takes me such a long time just t...

Noisey at night

My baby is 3 weeks old. He is becoming noisier and noisier at night. Grunting and it sounds like he is finding it difficult being led flat. I know newborns are noisey but it's getting worse/louder with everyday that passes. He doesn't do it much during the day just at night. We think he has reflux but he isn't on an...

Family car with space for pushchair and iso fix car seat ideas

Hey guys I’m on the hunt for a new car. Before having my little girl I didn’t realise how much space I would need in the boot😩 I currently have a Kia Rio and while I absolutely love my car it’s not viable with a child as I don’t have space for the pushchair. I can’t afford anything top of the range so needs to…

Newborn crying the SECOND I put her down

My 1 week old has been literally on my arms 24/7 since she’s been born. She does not want to be put down at night time and ends will only sleep if I’m holding her. She will literally not sleep on her cot even if swaddled or given a dummy. I don’t know what to do because I want to be safe and let her sleep on her cot...

4 month regression - is this it??

Hi! Our girl’s sleep has completely unraveled in the last couple of weeks and I’d appreciate opinions as to whether it’s the 4 month regression. She’s 14 weeks 3 days. She didn’t go down at all for the first 8 weeks so contact slept (it was hell), then between weeks 8-12 started going down for longer stints and by ...

Knowing ABC's & 123's

When should a toddler know his/her alphabet & counting? I'm starting to stress out that my daughter is falling behind. She's 3 & knows half the alphabet & can count to 5. Then sometimes when I try to count with her, or do the alphabet she'll want nothing to do with it or refuses to repeat the letter or number out loud.

How do you set your baby up for a nap when you are solo and also have a toddler?

My baby is 2m, I’m beginning to structure her naps more so bringing her into a quiet room instead of letting her nap wherever or wearing her. But I have no idea how I’m supposed to do that when my fiancé is not home to watch our 2 year old. What do you do about nap time with two kids on different schedules! Help!

Rockit on a next to me?

Has anyone tried a rockit on a next to me, more specifically a Snuzpod? My boy just isn’t going down tonight at all, I put him down desperate for a break and usually he’d cry whilst being put down awake. Anyway, I decided to start to wobble his crib side to side for some reason and this has settled him but I’ve bee...

IUD Horror!

I am here to offer a PSA. It is not well known (at least I've never found this answer while googling) that the hormone IUD can cause a horrible fluctuation in moods. I have been battling with my mental health for over a year now, to the point that I've never wanted to, ya know, but sometimes I wished I did because f...

Clogged Milk Duct

I have a clogged duct and need tips/advice! This is painful, and I really don’t want to get mastitis. Almost half of my breast feels rock hard due to the clog that started yesterday. So far I’ve used an ice pack, taken sunflower lecithin, ibuprofen, and tried massaging it. Is there anything else I can do?

Baby sometimes sleeps through the night and it’s causing me pain

My 10 week old has currently been asleep for the last 8.5 hours, which is lovely because we’d been having a bit of a regression lately. The only problem is that I have been up since 4am with hard af boobs, and have been terrified of getting a blocked duct (happened once before, worst time of my life). So now I’ve cr...

Regrettable nap

My 3.5 year old doesn't nap anymore and sleeps 8-8, every night without fail. However, today he fell asleep in the car for only 10 minutes but my god does it really affect their bedtime that much?! Between 8pm and 10pm (the time he fell asleep) he got up for these specific reasons. He was thirsty He was hungry His...
