How to have the birds and bees talk

My step daughter’s mom is not in her life and it’s really about time I give her this talk. She doesn’t know what sex is yet so what is the best way to have this convo? Without making her feel awkward and without it sounding awkward coming out of my mouth lol. She has had crushes on girls too. How did you guys do this?

Temper tantrums?

My LO just turned 1 and he's learned to throw a tantrum, he wails and flails if he doesn't get what he wants immediately. I usually redirect or we blow out candles to calm down but I didn't think this happened until later? Anyone else 🥲

Non-stop, non-productive talking?

My son is my WORLD! However my nerves tend to get struck pretty quickly when he talks incessantly 🤯 He's 3 years old. Sometimes it's not even talking but repeating the same sounds or phrase over and over again but it seems like it never stops. There rarely ever silence unless he's sleeping. He also constantly talks…

Baby doesn’t crawl

My girl is 9 months old and does get on her knees and hands and rocks and slides backwards some but hasn’t even tried to move her legs. She does prayer feet in a criss cross position, but then keeps them that way when she’s trying to get into crawling position so I’m afraid her feet won’t cooperate with her when she...

How do you respond when you toddler says horrible things?

Just lately mine has been saying things like ‘I like ruining things’ if I point out he’s about to ruin something or ‘I like hurting people’ when I tell him that he shouldn’t do something, eg hit someone or push them over because it would hurt them. He never actually does hurt people but he’ll say things like ‘I’m go...

Music..

This is so random and I’m probably being silly (in fact I know I am) my boyfriend loves screamo music, like really heavy screaming stuff and I really don’t like him having it on when our LO is around. I just think it’s too heavy and agressive and I don’t really want that for her and I do say, do you have too when sh...
