Do you ever have days where you just hate being a parent?

Don't judge me on this but today has been hell. I've had constant crying, refusing naps and constant irritability all day. I had to eat my dinner cold, drink all my hot drinks cold and haven't been able to go to the loo all day. Today I'm seriously thinking that thinking I could do this was a stupid idea. I love m...

Experiences and thoughts on co-sleeping

Hello, I have an 11 day old baby boy who is not settling in his crib over night. We have tried every recommendation from midwives and family to help him but he just wants to be on/near us at all times. We have a next to me crib but he won’t even settle in that when layed down. We have tried white noise, every type o...

Do I need to change nappy sizes?

My baby is one month old today 😭 she currently wears pampers premium protection in size 1 - but every time I change her nappy it seems to be leaving the nappy lines around her thigh, sometimes looks a bit red too. I don’t think she has surpassed the weight on the size 1 nappies - but what should I do? Is it worth…

Sleep training

My baby girl will be 4 months on Sunday and all signs have been leading to the fact she would be able to start sleep training, also confirmed by her pediatrician just to ease my mind! Tonight was her first night on a modified Ferber, modified meaning I didn’t follow the EXACT time frame for check ins just out of my ...

This ended in a big vomit and since then she’s been waking up every hour to feed again for 20 minutes. Am I doing something wrong...

Formula Feeds (4 week old)

Hey, Please can you tell me how much your baby is eating (oz) per however many hours? My baby is 4 weeks today, she eats anywhere between 3-4.5oz, and usually consumes about 26oz a day, apparently this is too much? What’s everyone else’s babies feeding?

Flat head, will it really resolve itself?

My 7 week old has developed a noticeable flat head on one side. She loves to sleep facing to the right from the moment she was born. I have been doing tummy time as much as she'd allow and some contact napping. But she's such a sleepy baby she's often in the moses basket or crib lying on her head. I'm really worried...

Not walking yet😭

Hi everyone! I had a question, I have tried so many things to get my son to walk, he’s turning 1 next month. I don’t know what to do, he crab walks, he holds onto things while pulling himself up, but when it comes to him standing on his own he’ll happily plant his butt back down on the floor and crawl. When he’s in ...

Night feeds

When did everyone's babies drop night feeds? Our baby girl had a low birth weight but was feeding every 3 hours and is now 7lb 9oz. She's now 4 weeks and has dropped a night feed. Is this normal, or should I still be waking her?
