I'm in Pembs, but giving birth at Glangwili. Here, I had to let my GP know (I had a routine appointment anyway), and they provided me with the self referral number for the local midwife team. There might be a website with a number if not. The midwife then asked me to call back at 6 weeks pregnant, and they booked me in for bang on 8 weeks. If I were you, I'd call your GP tomorrow morning and just ask for the number to your local midwife team, so you can self refer for a booking appointment because you're now 7+3 and haven't heard anything yet. I found it effective to be pushy that 'I'm aware I'm creeping closer to 8 weeks' purely because they like to get you seen by 10 weeks max, so they've got time to book you in for your 12 week dating scan. They had a backlog where I'm based, so I called every 2 days to check if I'd been progressed up the list with a date booked in yet, and found that worked really well. Don't worry about annoying them for it to give you peace of mind
I've not gone through doctors but my first booking appointment was over the phone at 10 wks x
I’m not sure how it works with the GP referring to triage, but when I had to call the midwife to let her know I was pregnant, I called her at roughly 3/4 weeks pregnant and she arranged a booking appointment for me at 8 weeks. The first one is normally between 8-10 weeks so I wouldn’t panic but not sure how it would work via GP / Triage. Sorry I couldn’t help more x
