For private scans they’re more relaxed. NHS scans it’s usually 1 person allowed in x

It might depend on trust/location but I know at our hospital they won’t tell someone else the gender or write it down etc they’ll only tell you and whoever else is there. And I’m pretty sure only one additional person can attend. I’d book a private gender scan if you’re wanting to keep it to be kept a secret from you.

I'd definitely recommend a private scan for this! Nhs only allow 1 person. I took 6 to my private gender scan! Also I've heard of a few hospitals that are strict that 20w is a scan to check for abnormalities, not gender. They'll tell you if they see it but it's a very small part of the appointment. Whereas, private they can tell you through the lights in the room and it's a really special moment 🥰 good luck either way lovey xx
