Boy mums, any advice?

3X this week my little boy has leaked through his nappy, vest and sleep sack at night and I’m at a loss in what to do! I’ve been putting his nappy on so carefully making sure it’s high up enough on his back and the leg guards are in the right place, I’ve also tried sizing up nappies in case that was the issue, but it seems size 1 is a bit small and size 2 is a bit big 🫣thinking about maybe putting him in a size 1 with a 2 over the top tonight to see if that works but worried then he’ll be too hot. Also not sure if it’s how long he’s in the nappy, his bedtime is 7 and he wakes between 3-4 wet, so that is a long time but pampers say they’re good for 12 hours. Anyone had the same and got any advice? It’s not fair on him to wake up wet and it’s stressful for me to completely change him at like 3am 🫠

Make sure you’re tucking his private part down, always worked for me.

Make sure the waistband is tight enough and his parts are pointed down. I'm sure you do already, but I always make sure mine has a clean dry diaper right before bed, so it'll last the night.

How old is little one? I was having this with my little boy and was giving him his last bottle an hour and a half before bed which gave him time to wee and then change his nappy right before bed. We have had no leaks since I started doing this

Consider setting your alarm midway in his sleep cycle to change him.

How old is he? You may need to size up his vest over the nappy, we found more leaks happened of his clothes got too tight over the nappy

Size up in vests and sleepsuits as poppers at the nappy area can cause compression leaks x

Thanks all, he’s 3 months and in 3-6month size vests and always have his private’s pointing down

Try different nappy brands. Been using Fred and Flo and no issues since then.

I have doubled up on nighttimes and it’s worked perfectly for me. Would definitely recommend it 😊

I use the ‘baby dry’ pampers nappies at night (the green pack) which has meant less leaks for my little one. We do still get leaks occasionally though but less often.
