Hey, I live in Wakey - I found out at 5 weeks and got an appointment for beginning of April with midwife through the self referral a week later ☺️

Can't remember how long it took to hear back, think it was about a week-10 days when i got a letter for my first midwife appointment. Found out when i was 6 weeks and had my booking appointment at 10 weeks. Also good choice on pinderfields. I had a category 1 c section but the staff were all amazing litterally saving both me and my little boy's lives

@chloe Thank you! I went to pinderfields with my first too but i just feel like my minds gone blank, And i saw my midwife over here first last time, where as this time they’ve not booked me in till 16 weeks as ill just see pinderfields at 8-10 week and for my scans, i just feel so lost with it all 😩

@Annabel I’m currently 5+2, and i found out about 3 days ago, I had a chemical pregnancy last month so i’m really just on edge with everything 😅 i don’t remember being this stressed about it all with my first

I’m incredibly anxious too, but just take it a day at a time. I’ve booked an early 8 week scan because I just cannot wait until 12 weeks! Do everything that makes you feel good and be gentle with yourself, stressing about it doesn’t control the outcome but it does control your wellbeing which is the most important thing at this stage ❤️

Hey, I did my referral on 12th March and waited until yesterday (just short of 2 weeks) and I hadn’t heard anything. I rang them yesterday on the number on the email confirmation to check and they let me know on the phone when my appointment was. So I’d give them a call if you haven’t heard anything. X

@Zoey i’ll have to see if i can find the email, i don’t want to tell work so i need to give them some notice of my appointments otherwise ill just have to tell him what they’re for

I’ve just checked my email for you and this is the number for the Wakefield Community 01924 543424. If you made your work aware they have to by law allow you to attend any antenatal appointments and they can’t force you to work the time back x

@Zoey i know they do, but i don’t want to tell them, none of my managers can keep their mouth shut and i don’t want everyone knowing just yet. Thank you for the phone number ill give them a call before i start x

Ok lovely, no problem 😊 good luck x
