My babies have never followed the centiles. My current pregnancy has been all over 12th to the 1st to the 18th to the 6th. I dont think they worry unless its under the 10th. They will probably just monitor and give you some extra scans! Try not to panic xx
@Vicky I also had this! My baby was measuring in the 95th + then at my latest appointment he had dropped to the 50th. I was sent for a scan and it turns out he’s a little small but actually it’s just because of inconsistent midwife’s and everyone doing the growth measurements differently Similar things have happened to 3 different mums in my NCT group and all the baby’s came out a good weight x
I went from 40th to above the 90th to the 50th and my midwife didn’t seem concerned she didn’t even send me for a growth scan x
My baby was 20th percentile so already smalll around Xmas but in February at my growth scan she dropped below third percentile and has stayed on that curve so she is being delivered early 36 weeks as they class this as restricted growth so my placenta may not be working well. But I have gestational diabetes also x
My baby dropped from the 27th percentile to 10, I’m getting induced next Sunday xx
I recently went from lower end to 97th in 3 weeks and was sent for a scan to check his size (he’s confirmed as 86th so still pretty big). But surely they’ll do the same for you also? 😊 can all depend on fluid levels and lots of other things.
Dropped from 86th to 18th but all is fine had growth scans every 2 weeks, I’m now 37+5 and baby is at a normal centile
@Grace same mine was because of a random cover midwife she messed up my chart massively 😒 baby is at the average weight for his gestational age so im not worrying at all. Madness how many this happens too, but some panic more than others and it causes so much unnecessary stress they do more harm than good in some cases
I dropped from 91st to 65th. They just sent me for additional growth scans and consultant appointments. Finally got signed off this week (38.5 weeks) as baby back to his original curve. All I did was rest and eat more for a few weeks 😅 Try not to let them worry you or panic you, they just being over cautious in most cases. Take thier advise on board but also do your own research so you have your own facts. They kept talking to me about induction early etc, I just kept telling them no I know my body and baby unless there's immediate threat to life they can leave me alone. Trust your instincts ❤️
