When did you stop cosleeping with your baby ?

I only have one baby boy and I love putting my him to bed and sleeping with him since we are alone 5 days out of the week. He keeps me company but I know he will eventually not need me and it makes me sad When did you guys stop sleeping with your babies? Or they didn’t need you for nap time ?

I stopped when it was no longer working for us. My first was 6 months and then would not sleep or settle unless she was in her own space. My second I needed to stop at 4 months cause I had a ton of hip pain.

I had to quit when I was pregnant at about 16 months

I have a floor bed and both my kids sleep with me. 5 and almost 2 years old. I have co slept since birth.

My son started putting himself down for his own naps at around 14-16 months old, then by 18 months he started asking to start bedtime in his own bed, and he doesn’t join me in the big bed until 4-6am, we’re at 2 years old now, he has a floor bed in our bedroom, he starts sleep in his own bed and comes up to join me whenever he wakes & no longer wants to be alone When we encounter sickness there’s a greater need for closeness again but I don’t mind

8.5 months when I got Covid

15 months. But recently, without fail at about 4am. My son will crawl into bed with us

6 months then relapsed bc of sickness & teething. Then again at 10 months!

Still cosleeping at 3.5 years …. I slept with my mum until i was like 10, my husband and their family played musical beds for years… its a cultural norm. my toddler almost figured out how to sleep thru night a lone at age 2 year and 2 months but then i went on a work trip then got pregnant then we went on holiday so he clung to me like glue thru night until my husband took over the night cosleeps… husband is struggling again now so im taking over co sleep some nights as newborn seems happy in cot so far…

2 1/2 years old right now. She’s still in my bed and shows zero signs of not needing me lol
