Getting first appointment
Hiya girls I’m wondering if someone can help me I’ve found out I’m pregnant and I don’t know where to start do I call or 😅I was told to go on badger notes but it’s asking me for a code of my midwife but the midwife is telling me I need to go on badger notes to get a appointment I’m so confused

It was a bit different for me - I had to do the self referral and basically register on to Badger notes and then when that was done I got a confirmation email with what happens. And it says the midwife will get in touch with me
Hey, I used the self referral for both my pregnancies and within a few days they’ll get back to you with your first appointment.

Your midwife will give you the code for badger, usually at 8/9 weeks pregnant is when they phone you for initial info x Where I’m from you can’t self refer x
I’m Hampshire uk and it’s self referral at 6 weeks xx

You need to call the GP surgery & they’ll book you in with the community midwife, you won’t have a code for Badger Notes (yet) till the midwife gives you it. It’s the app that’ll track your pregnancy, antenatal appointments, scans, blood results etc 🫶🏻
