Type of scan?
Hi ladies, sorry if this is a stupid question. I have my NHS 12 week scan tomorrow. Is it just an external ultrasound? Or is there something else too?

External and they usually do bloods afterward if you opt for the additional screening. X
Scan and then blood tests after to check for downs etc for baby x
External with full bladder check for 3 syndromes & then bloods for 3 syndromes
If you are 12 weeks it’ll be external. If you turn out to be weeks earlier it may be internal. I had an internal at 9 weeks 6 days. x
