Baby’s position

First time mum here (probably obvious) I had a private scan today, I’m 27 weeks pregnant. My baby is currently in a transverse position and pretty much has been in the same position since our first scan, I have been looking online and it says they usually move head down towards the end of pregnancy. Is that usually the case?

Usually they start turning head down between 28-32 week but can happen really until 36-37 weeks or even later. Im 28weeks today (2nd pregnancy) and my baby is still in transverse position too.

Yep they usually turn in the 3rd trimester 🙂 you can do a few things to help baby get in position such as a birthing ball the movements and good posture helps move them to where they should be and help them drop down lower in to the hips

I went for a scan when I was 24 weeks and they said he was head down but he moves all the time I can tell when he’s head down from where the kicks are , with me second born at 35 weeks he was still transverse I ended up having him a few days later by c-section though x

Babies can move up until you’re literally giving birth so I wouldn’t worry too much. Baby has time to move!
