Help

Does anyone have any tricks on how to control fasting sugar levels (? Mine is starting to be problematic. I have had GD since 8 weeks and I'm diet controlled. My morning fasting levels have been in range until recently and nothing I'm doing is working. Any tips would be appreciated.

I found having a high protein or high fat snack before bed helped lower my morning levels

Some whole fat milk usually helps me

Hi lovely, my midwife was told by a dietician that eating cheese before bed can help control it. I've tried it a few times and can say it's helped mine ☺️ xx

If you like chocolate milk, fairlife chocolate milk has worked great for me.. it has protein and carbs and is a good bed time snack. Or some gold fish as well But on the other hand, your placenta drives all of it.. no matter what we do it still dictates if the numbers are in range.. talk to your doctor about your options.

Following as im on insulin and seems as we increase my units my readings are getting higher but I'm booked in for my section on Tuesday x

Thanks so much ladies, you have been very helpful🥰
