Babycot - the same place he sleeps at night
We do have her cot upstairs but at this age I like her to nap downstairs
My little girl naps in her cot upstairs with the monitor on, she has been since 4.5 months. She’s now used to the cot and goes to bed easier in it too x
Not sure if it's the best thing to do but we use an indoor pram, rock her to sleep downstairs and put white noise on usually, then if she wakes up early it's easier to rock back to sleep xx
In her cot xx
Cot x
Erm haven't quite managed to put mine down for a nap properly. Still contact or pram naps in day time.
Thanks ladies maybe I will try the cot then x
I don't out my little one down for a nap in her cot as I like her to know that's for bedtime. For naps she either sleeps in her baby swing, she's held or she tends to sleep on the sofa. Both our girls have always napped wherever and tend to be downstairs so that they get used to sleeping with noise. I didn't want them to get used to sleeping in absolute silence. But it's what has worked for me
How are people transferring them to cot? Awake or asleep? Feel like she would wake up when trying to transfer, so thought pram naps would be better/less stressful? 🤷🏼♀️ xx
@Tasha a baby swing and the sofa are not safe for sleep
@Emily I put him down awake but drowsy and he falls asleep on his own, took a few days to master it tho x
@Tasha my little girl falls asleep in the swing too
@Emily drowsy but not asleep generally but I can put her down awake. She can self settle and knows the cot is for sleeping so settles and goes to sleep

I put down awake and within 15/20 minutes she’s asleep xx
Do you have her cot set up yet? Have you tired putting her down in that?
