I tried it and it helped my baby break the habit of waking a certain times and it pushed her first night feed later. Which tells me she is waking because she’s hungry xx
Don’t see the point really just let them sleep till they wake you x
Just think would it make a habit for them in the long run?
I tried it once but then at the next wake my baby had terrible gas and took ages to settle back to sleep so didn't work for us.
Not everyone wants to wait until they wake you up at 3am for a feed 🤣 which is the whole point of a dream feed, I feed and fed my eldest back in the day around 11pm when I go to bed and it helped them sleep through the night so they are full without any early hours feed. My 4 month old sleeps from 6pm till 7am with a dream feed around 11, sometimes later but I do it before she stirs so that she doesn’t wake up. I don’t wind her anymore but I did when she was younger. The pro is that is it supposed to keep them full, whilst basically still asleep so it stops them from waking up entirely thinking it’s play time or having to take a while to get them back to sleep at stupid o’clock in the morning xx
I dream fed my little one. He gets a bottle around 630/7pm, bath at 8pm, usually sleeping for 9pm and then gets dream fed around 10/1030pm and that's usually him down until around 6/7am. Had tried letting him sleep until he woke up looking a bottle but it ended up taking him longer to go back down and harder to get wind up!
I don’t see why there would be any cons x but I’m interested to hear what people say
