Tantrums

SOS! My 15 month old is doing this thing now where when we tell him no or take something from him he gets mad and will hit his head on the floor or the wall. Does anyone have past experience with this? Is it a phase that will soon pass or should I be concerned!?

Same with my 15 month old. I have a son that went through the phase. They tantrum later but it looks different.

My baby did this too 😭 idk what to do either

omg my son started showing tantrums too. he will cry, yell mama and start throwing things. he just grabs anything and put in his mouth i have to keep hawk eye on him it’s so exhausting. sometimes distracting him works.

Definitely normal, both of my boys did this. My 15mo currently throws himself to the ground and headbutts the floor pretty good. We just slip a soft toy, our hand, even our foot under his head. He usually stops when he realizes it isn't going to hurt 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣 they will grow out of it soon as they learn to communicate more

This video really helped me understand what it is going. https://youtu.be/n1uLIfjPg34?si=IKG-GT1mf0ymCmn7

Mine does this. My 2 year old did as well but he has since grown out of it - kind of LOL he has his moments

Yes my 15 month old!! Glad to know I’m now alone. Welcome to toddler stage

My 15 month old purposely hits her head!! I’m like girl!! It’s normal but I’m like 😭

Oh my god …i could’ve written this post myself lol 15 month old boy and he does the exact same thing!!!! Went to doc and he said that it’s totally normal but to baby proof as much as we can. We also don’t react really strongly so he doesn’t get a positive reinforcement from the behavior and we redirect as much as we can before he hits his head.
