Have you got any risk factors? If so, it might have to do with that. And as @Kelly said, it's probably to discuss options and have plan in place :)
With my first pregnancy my bmi was higher and they mentioned I might get an anaesthesia appointment at some point in my pregnancy because of it but they never ended up sorting it and everything was fine ☺️
I had one mentioned, but never had an appointment even though I was booked in for a section 🤣 wouldn’t worry about it, just a precautionary appointment 🥰
Don’t worry too much! I had one my last pregnancy and have one this pregnancy too! I had an anaesthetic review because I have a tolerance to anaesthesia from being hypermobile (but had to have a spinal when I gave birth to remove my placenta and it worked fine!). Its just so they have a plan in place in case you need one a spinal or epidural.
