I have the same problem, but he is just a much lighter sleeper than my first son. Only way I get a good daytime nap is if he is in a sling / carrier, and even then sometimes it’s only half an hour / 40 mins. As they get older, they will learn to link sleep cycles which will help. Until then I’m just using my stretchy sling as much as possible.

What sling do you use ?

I had the same with my first, I was constantly going for walks or drives

Are you following his wake windows? If babies go past them they get much more difficult to put to sleep.

I had the same with my first son. Had to have him in the sling or pram constantly to get the naps in. It’s a pain but it isn’t forever, it gets easier as they get a bit older. Hang in there mama xx

I am having this issue with my 7 week old, the past few days he’s been awake from 4pm-1am and only naps for about 2 hours total in the day in short intervals, I’m praying it gets better soon.

Have you tried white noise on the tv or your phone on loud? It’s like tv static it’s supposed to mimic the sound of inside the womb like the noisiness to soothe them and it also drowns out other sounds, it will probably send you to sleep too 🤣 it’s honestly a god send for my fussy baby, & it was for my now four year old when she was a baby x

I have the freerider wrap, but I think it’s very similar to the izmi one which is supposed to be very good.

My girl likes to be on her tummy but I’ll only do it if I can watch her like a hawk
