Anyone up Right now?

Hi everyone! My 2-month-old daughter, she tends to sleep 5-6 hours when my husband takes care of her on the weekends, but during the week, it’s a bit of a struggle. She sleeps a lot during the day, and it’s hard to keep her awake. Does anyone have tips for adjusting her sleep schedule or helping her sleep longer stretches at night? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hang in there! There’s some stories about babies sleeping real good at night but she’s so young, and she will sleep thru the night eventually. Mine just started sleeping longer stretches thru the night and she’s almost 5 months old 🫶🏻

However, some things my babe needed to sleep better at night is a consistent bath, good temperature, rain sounds, and a dark room! (We got black out curtains for when the sun came up)

@Isabel thank you ! 🙏🏻 just a struggle during the late nights

Lots of sunlight during the day! I would even let my little one nap in the living room midday in a bright/open curtain room. It helped her get more used to day vs night and she would sleep all night when it was dark and her sound machine was on.

My 3 month old son loves a good bath. Gets his to sleep right away as his head touches his cot …

I found out there are apps to help you track sleep schedule and gives tips on how to make it better. Also when to give naps. I use huckleberry and pay $10 but you can also pay more per month for an expert to give you advice. Also I have been using my own version of the Ferber method to help my little one sleep at night and he is doing well with it.

But would wait to sleep train till 4/5 months old

When my first had day/night confusion (5-6h stretch of sleep during the day and barely sleeping at night) I kept every window and light open and on around her during the day along with bird/nature sounds on the sound machine, then white noise and total darkness at night
