Speak to your HV first if you have any worries & they can refer you for speech therapy if they think your son needs it.

I did, and I learned how to teach language. It helped a bit for sure. But I later did a heavy metal detox and I’ve seen more words from my son from that than anything else. It’s incredible it was basically within days of starting the cleanse. Not trying to sell anything. But honestly I tell everyone this now.
