What to do next at 44, help!

I’ve spent a year doing ovulation induction as i only get one or two follicles maturing using injectable drugs to stimulate them. My egg reserves test came back very low (the same low as when I conceived my daughter at 41). Docs say don’t bother with ivf as it’s pretty much the same chances as doing ovulation induct...

FET query

Hello, We were successful with our first IVF cycle and we now have a 14 month old 🙂 We are looking at trying again as we have two frozen embryo's. Can anyone tell me the process of a FET, how much medication was this time around? The time frame for a cycle. Success stories as I am unsure of the success rate on…

Hatching Embryo

I just did my frozen embryo transfer and it was already hatching. I just read that the chances of implantation are higher . Does anyone know if this is correct or anyone had a similar experience that resulted in a pregnancy

NHS funding for meds post FET?

Hi all, I recently had my 4th FET (NHS having transferred from a private clinic) and have had a positive test for the first time 🥹 My clinic told me their NHS funding ceased on test day but I have to continue taking a suite of meds they prescribed until further notice. They indicated it would be simply be a matter…

Egg storage

So we have had 2 IVF babies over the last 5 years :) I have 5 eggs in storage but can’t bring myself to not keep paying the £375 pa to the clinic for storage. I know we don’t want any more but they are my babies and it’s feels sad. Maybe I’m not ready? Anyone else been in this position?

Lubion for how long after positive test result (IVF)?

Hi ladies, I had a fresh transfer after recent round of IVF and tested positive this week yay! I’ve been on lubion injections as well as pessaries for luteal support. My question is how long do I continue taking these for? My clinic mentioned up until 8 weeks as it was a fresh transfer (would be 12 if frozen), I jus...

Nhs Fertily referal

Just wow! Finally got a gp to talk to me about fertility and I’m absolutely livid! This doctor says the first port of call is to get a full blood test then i will get sent to gynaecology but we have to do those bloods first. I asked if that hinders any fertility referral because gynaecology (health and harmonie) ...

First FET failed 💔

Hey girls, Iv just had my blood test results and our first FET has failed. First of all I was thinking it was maybe something I did wrong, but Im nearly 40 and they are untested embryos so it really is a matter of chance/luck. We have 4 more embryos in the freezer so on to the next 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 Good luck to everyone…

FET 5DP5DT negative test

Hello, this is my first FET with my PGT- A tested embryo. I am 5 days post my frozen embryo transfer, I have no symptoms and I have tested negative thus far. Prior to my transfer I underwent a hysteroscopy and received normal results (no fibroids, polyps etc). My clinic requires it on all patients before FET. Also, ...

Confirmed second failed IVF with 4AB blastocyst

I’m literally devastated, I know that IVF isn’t a done deal and it really doesn’t matter what the egg quality is graded at that every transfer is set to chance. But I had high hopes this time as it seems so positive from my last IVF but it still doesn’t make any of this easier. I’m now starting to think what even is...

IVF package vs one cycle

Hi all, I am 43 with low amh and just had second failed IUI. I am now thinking of moving on to IVF but I am wondering how did you weigh up whether to pay for one round at a time vs a package of 3 cycles? Obviously it is very expensive but I want to give myself the best chance at success so unsure what to do. Any adv...

Pray for me

I have been trying to conceive since July 2024 and had no luck but this cycle I’m sure I have done everything right and want some baby dust from my fellow mothers or mothers to be. This will be my second pregnancy and my son is 2 years old and I’m very confident this cycle i have been taking preemama supplements and...

Low AMH… success stories?

I had my son via IVF and he was born in 2023… so I’m planning on starting IVF again in hope of a second child. I’m 40 this year… when I had my son my AMH was 9.2 and now I’ve retreated and I’m 2.9 obviously this is low and has got lower through ageing. Just keen to hear if anyone has had success with a low AMH. Thanks!

IVF first round anxiety

Hi everyone 💓 I started my stims this week and this is my first round of IVF. I go between feeling super excited, to being worried that it may not work first time. I know that it sometimes doesn't, but I've also had reassurance that for some people it does and you have to trust the process. Has anyone else felt…

Previous marriage divorce papers

Has anyone else had their clinic request previous marriage divorce papers? My clinic wants my decree absolute from a marriage that ended 14 years ago, which I think is ridiculous! I'm unsure what that has to do with my current IVF.

Access Fertility help

My husband and I are considering taking the leap and doing IVF after nearly 2 years of TTC and three losses. I have low follicle count (only 5 follicles on both scans) and lowish AMH. Mira Fertilty

Has anyone used the mira fertility machine and got success stories/think it’s worth the money? I’m really contemplating trying it but already feel like I’ve spent a fortune on stuff and is it all just the same thing? I’m considering going private this year to get more answers as NHS won’t help me with my BMI and jus...
