Access Fertility help

My husband and I are considering taking the leap and doing IVF after nearly 2 years of TTC and three losses. I have low follicle count (only 5 follicles on both scans) and lowish AMH. We have been recommended by our clinic to go through Access Fertility. They have an unlimited cycle refundable option over two years or a refundable 2-3 cycle option. The prices vary between each option but it seems as though we should go for at least one of the packages given that we might not get that many eggs with my low follicle count. There is so much information and questions we have about the whole process, so are a bit overwhelmed with all of the decisions that we have to make. I am looking to see if anyone has any advice re the different access fertility plans and which (if any) they would recommend given our situation?

Hey! We’re currently going through the same thing and we spoke to access fertility over the phone yesterday and they was so helpful and it made us understand alot more. I would recommend calling them and they can give you advice based on your personal circumstances. Good luck with everything x

I went through access fertility and it was great. We got a 3 cycle with a 50% refund. I called them when we were looking and I definitely recommend speaking to them. You will have a medical assessment for the refund package and you may not get the one you want, so just be aware of that. We put in for 100% refund and got 50%. Not that we needed it as we fortunately had a baby.

We also have a package through them. Ideally we wanted a refund package, but didn’t qualify (too many failed IVF attempts & losses), but still went through them as they offer an interest-free payment option - we are paying for a 2 cycle package (2 egg collections & all transfers) over 12 months. My clinic (Care Fertility) only just moved to Access Fertility, as before they did their own finance, and you’d have to pay for everything up front, so having Access has made a big difference.

I don’t know if you will doing here in NHS , they take longer , me and my husband decided to do abroad, we chose Poland 🇵🇱, there have very good clinics and Doctors very experienced. And there is a lot of cheap from UK, also the ticket to there is very cheaper, sometimes I pay £18 pounds return tickets , hotel is cheaper as well. I am happy with there . Also is a safe city to go.
