What can you claim as a SAHM in the UK?
I have a part time job with a fixed term contract that has a 70% chance of being extended but would end while I was on maternity leave. I then work locum/bank as a nurse the other days but still employed on PAYE. How does this work with maternity ??
Mommas! If you work from home and keep your kids home, what do you do? Any side hustles that are kid-friendly?
How do you find working from home with little one? Comment how old they were when you started. Considering it for myself ❤️
I just discovered that dulas are covered in by Medicaid. Has anyone ever had one? How does it work !?

I keep seeing posts/comments about WFH jobs that can be done as a stay at home mum, if you work, please get appropriate childcare for your baby/toddler.
Just filling out my maternity form for work. I know we only get maternity pay for 9 months and the last 3 are unpaid, I’ve been asked to put in weeks how long I plan on taking off. Me and maths don’t work together😂 I checked Google but just to confirm, 9 months is 39 weeks yeah?🙈
Anyone working full time? I will be from next week and I am dreading it. Going to miss our baby so much! How are you finding it? I hope it gets easier with time 🤞🏼
Hey any SAHM work from home!?
Mums in Sydney. Does anyone know of any work from home side hustles? I am constantly in financial stress. Relying on my husband all the time is driving me insane. I can’t and won’t put my baby in daycare she’s too young.
Hi, does anyone know any work from home jobs? Like legit ones? No degree needed, entry level job, no call centers. I just had my baby a month ago and cannot afford childcare, but also cannot afford to not have a job. If I work part time I will never see my husband. All the remote jobs I see are fake/ scams. Links ...
Hi all! I’m back to work in 4 weeks. How do you manage leaving your baby without them crying? My daughter cries a lot when I leave her even for 10mins. I have been single handedly managing so far (most of the time). My mum is coming from India to help and will meet her for the first time. Do babies eventually adjus...
Has anyone else had struggles applying for paid family leave, if so, do you have any advice for me? My application has been pending and my leave started over a month ago.
Be careful with these scammers mamas! This “mom” was trying to sell me on joining some agency for a minimal fee to become an entrepreneur so I could be a SAHM. Kept mentioning her business. I don’t even remember swiping to connect…but anyway I kept our convo short but sharing with you all as a warning. Adding screen...
How far did you’s all work I want to work pretty much till I’m due but don’t want to push myself
Hi, I’m currently a sahm. I have two boys that are both toddlers. I would love to start my own career or own line of income to be more self sustainable. Idk I feel like I’m in a position where I’m stuck and I’m just relying on my husband to provide for me and I don’t like it. I feel very alone. I don’t have friends ...
I currently qualify for the 15 funded childcare hours for my nearly 2 year old as me and my husband both work. I know it’s set to change to 30 in September. Will I still qualify even though I’ll be on maternity leave with baby no2? I think I would as I still am classed as being employed but just wanted to check? X
Is anyone else looking for jobs externally at the moment rather than returning to their old job? I'm stressed out of my mind at the moment trying to sort my job situation out as my current job have said full time only but I was working 50/60hr weeks which I don't want to do with my LG and we plan to have a 2nd with...
