Work

Hi, I’m currently a sahm. I have two boys that are both toddlers. I would love to start my own career or own line of income to be more self sustainable. Idk I feel like I’m in a position where I’m stuck and I’m just relying on my husband to provide for me and I don’t like it. I feel very alone. I don’t have friends ...

Funded hours

I currently qualify for the 15 funded childcare hours for my nearly 2 year old as me and my husband both work. I know it’s set to change to 30 in September. Will I still qualify even though I’ll be on maternity leave with baby no2? I think I would as I still am classed as being employed but just wanted to check? X

CMS

Ex has just after 1 year and 7 months of not paying anything has not started sending £100 for the past two months. I was wondering if I should still apply for CMS or it’s worth just accepting the £100. Any ideas would be helpful?

Hopeless

So recently started work again but its not enough hours for me to actually be able to afford to live. My lo dad isn’t involved and my family doesn’t help out at all so the only thing I can rely on is free nursery ( 15hrs). It’s so hard to find a job that can both support you and the baby nursery finding hours, as ...

Of course I love my daughter to bits but the older she’s getting (17 months) the more demanding it is and I just feel like I can’t stimulate her as well as a nursery setting could. Hi, I'm going to be flying at the end of March and the airline require a "fit to fly" certificate. I originally asked my midwife, but she said that only GPs can issue them. My GP has just told me that they "have decided not to issue them any more as a practice policy". When I asked why, I was told it's just a decisi...
