Having hard time pumping

I have been breast feeding for 3 months now. I was pumping the first month and a half, then strictly latching on and one bottle of formula at night. When my baby is latched on, he feeds until hes full and falls asleep. I started pumping again and I’m barely getting milk. Right boob used to pump 4 oz, and the left barely 1 oz.. now I’m not even pumping 1 oz with both breast combined. I am using the medela pump the hospital/insurance gave me. I use pump on a medium setting that is comfortable for me and massage my breast to the point the milk can squirt out when I squeeze.. i don’t know what to do

I had something similar happen when I switched. What I found really helpful was making sure I pumped for 5-10 minutes past when I was empty and then also offering baby the breast after she’d finished the bottle. Also make sure you are eating and drinking enough. It’s recommended to eat an extra 500 calories per day and drink between 2-3 liters of water per day while breastfeeding.

This happened to me! It's like my brain stopped connecting with the pump! I had to go back to basics and do loads of skin to skin with baby to get it to work again xx

Add hand expressing to the mix! And massaging the area 😉 Milk is stronger 11pm-7am so make sure you pump within that timeframe, 4/5am maybe? And throughout the day at regular intervals plus hand expressing. Milk is depleting in the evening, so you won’t get as much. You’ve got this! If in doubt, i’d urge you to contact our consultant, Amanda Marks. Links below x https://www.instagram.com/throughtheeyesofaparent?igsh=MWgxbGg2bWtrbGloMg==

Plus Fenugreek 3x a day!

hmm, it sounds super frustrating, but maybe try pumping right after you feed your baby to help boost your supply? here's what the 'Heal Baby Care App' says.... "It sounds like you're experiencing a decrease in milk supply, which can be concerning. Factors like stress, hydration, and frequency of pumping can affect milk production. To help boost your supply, try pumping more frequently, ideally after breastfeeding sessions, and ensure you're staying well-hydrated and eating a balanced diet. Have you noticed any changes in your baby's feeding patterns or your own stress levels recently?
