Scar pains when need to poo ?

Okay so this is a bit if a weird one potentially. I was wondering if anyone gets slight pains in their scar when they need to go to do a poo and especially if I get a bit constipated it's worse and it its one I have to push a bit it almost feels like tugging on it? I've spoken to my Dr already because I also feel my period cramps in my scar and I've had an ultrasound for it but they can't see anything. I'm 7 months postpartum

I sometimes get some weird pains and tinges around my period in my scar and yes sometimes if I'm constipated. I think it's just one of those fun things postpartum that will eventually sort itself out. If they've checked you over and are happy that everything is fine, I'd try not to worry 😊 Obviously if it's severe pain then I would probably go back.

@Jess I'm not so much worried but none of my other mums group friends who all had c sections experience it so more just wanted to put it out there and feel a little less like I'm alone with my broken body 🤣🤣 my recovery was pretty bad and none of my irl friends seem to relate to any of my little postpartum oddities

Also i love how out of all the world the reply i get is from Yorkshire! I'm from West Yorkshire initially but live in Australia now

Oh bless you! It's awful when you have no one to relate to. Hopefully you feel a little less alone now 😊 Damn that is a weird coincidence!

It’s been a week since my c section and I cry every time I use the bathroom it hurts very badly

@Amber it gets better! The probably 4-6 weeks or so was agony for me I kept being constipated but you can't really push because you could damage something and it hurts. If you haven't already go get yourself some stool softener - I was reccomended Movicol by the hospital and had 2 sachets a day until the pain was better and it wasn't such a struggle. Also look up breathing it out instead of pushing it out, after years of straining I was like wtf this was an option? It has to be ready to come out and doesn't really work when constipated but normal poos it was a life saver while I was first healing. I hope it gets easier soon for you. I'm 7 months postpartum tomorrow and what I'm talking about is a very different thing sensation to that early on agony

I’ll keep that in mind

Yes kind of! 5 months pp here, any time i really need to poo or have bad gas, I get what I can only describe as the ghost of labor pains. Like really bad cramps, but it's centered around the incision area. First time it happened I thought I was going to die, definitely cried a little too.
