Post c section urinating
Is anyone else experiencing some discomfort when passing urine post a c section? I understand some discomfort is to be expected but not sure what is normal and what isn't! I'm 6 days pp.

Yeah it feels bruised. Only hurts towards the end of a wee
Yes I’m 2 weeks PP tomorrow and it’s still a very weird sensation when passing urine!
2 weeks after my c section I’m still getting slight discomfort
4 weeks pp after a c section, I had pain in my 2nd week and eventually went away by 3rd week.
Yes I had what felt like pressure/slight stinging until around 2 weeks pp I think! It does go away eventually but if it continues after that, maybe mention it to your health visitor or midwife😊

I'm 3 weeks post c section and I'm still getting discomfort. They think it's due to catheter trauma (I had mine taken out and put back in a few times). I was treated for a UTI a week post partum and just been placed on another course of antibiotics today. If you feel like there's something wrong it wouldn't hurt to contact your maternity unit
