@Jayde thanks, I keep telling myself she’ll figure it out and it won’t matter if she goes a bit cold turkey. It’ll all be new to her, food, routine so not having breast milk (inc pump milk) is just another new thing on top…
My little girl has gone to nursery since she was 9 months old and she's gotten on great, she will have her naps at the exact same time, meals too, but refuses her milk most of the time 🤦♀️ and she will eat everything, sometimes 2nd and 3rd portions too. But at home she needs that milk and she will throw the meals I've made that are the exact same as nursery have made. I swear they're 2 different people when at nursery and at home.
Yea I hear babies and kids all do different things at nursery! I’m not too phased by sleep, or food, just more the fact she is breastfed and I’m finding it really hard to stop as evidently she’s a boob monster! All a learning curve. Good that you’re finding it all ok. 🥰
My baby is also a boob barnacle. He started at the childminder at 6 months with bottles. He had only had a bottle a few times before going. I switched his milk to a sippy cup around 9 months and he hasn’t had a bottle since. He will rarely take the expressed milk from me (if there was some left over from the day) and expects it straight from the tap. I oblige as it’s the main time I get with him since he’s there full time. They do adjust when we’re not there x
Try not to stress, my eldest fed like a newborn and barely ate food but me managed childcare (part time) ok. Just sent her in with her safe foods and breastfed on demand when she was with me.
Thank you ❤️
It won't matter, my little girl is on 3 bottles a day, I know formula is different, but she hardly ever has more than a few oz of her afternoon bottle, and she's never looking for it either, she's too busy playing. They really do get into their own routine at nursery and different things comfort them there than they do at home.
