Literally could've written this. Mine used to love it but now hates it. Not sure why tbh. Following if anyone has any tips x
@Hannah I will have to get him some new toys for the bath , he used to love it now he screams . I had to try holding him with one hand and clean him with the other while he was running on the spot grabbing me 😩
Yes. I had the same. She’d try and out her arms round my neck to escape the water. We also taught her to tip her head back for hair washing by teaching her how a wolf howls. 😂 We also did bath role playing in the living room where we’d pretend to take baths and use empty jugs and pretend to wash each… each other’s hair, cuddly toys, etc. That helped too. Now she asks for baths again and asks me to pour water over her head.
@Jess honestly I don’t understand why he’s had gone like this , it’s like he’s frightened and grabbing me crying . He used to splash away and no care having his hair washed . Now it’s a nightmare x
@Hannah washing hair has never been a problem as I’ve let the water go on his face since birth so had no problems !before it’s as soon as the foot goes in the water he refuses to sit down , just don’t understand why or how he has changed to hating it x
We went through this but are out the other end. I gave my daughter baths less frequently, bought some new bath toys and let her play with them without actually putting her in her baby bath. She’d lean over and play. She’d eventually choose to get in and play… and eventually she decided she liked the bath again. (In the meantime she would be so cross at me for making her wash… especially her hair).
