Sorry to hear you are suffering. I saw an osteopath for my pelvic pain; they did some stretch work with me & gave me exercises to do daily which will also help with labour. Honestly I’d highly recommend, not suffered with the same pain since. Get the odd ache but all depends on baby’s position. Xx
I've just been refered for Hydrotherapy, I did some research and suggested it as I've been in absolute bits and it's heartbreaking how limited we are during pregnancy! I had some nerve damage from previous surgeries, and how naive was I thinking that it would calm down during pregnancy 🤣... I did some acupuncture during my IVF to conceive and also spoke to my lady, She suggested some light acupuncture with massage for some sessions, So it's worth discussing with hospital as I do know they can help with acupuncture too!.. But definately look up Hydrotherapy, looks incredible for Pelvic pain xxx 🥰 I also invested a little in a momozy pregnancy band for extra support, I've only used it for a few hours this morning and it's helped massively also xxx
Sorry to hear you’re in severe pain. I would take it easy, go see my GP as the first point of call just to be safe. There are pelvic Velcro belts for your waist you can buy for pregnancy to help distribute the weight evenly and ease the pressure on you pelvic area which may reduce/relieve pain. A physiotherapist that specialises in women’s health is also a great option to pursue for pelvic pain in pregnancy. They can help with targeted massage and provide you with techniques/exercises to do that are pregnancy safe. I had severe pain during my 2nd pregnancy that felt like lower back pain. Turns out, it was my sacrum (connected to the pelvis). My bones were fractured and I was diagnosed with pregnancy induced osteoporosis due to low bone density. This is an extremely rare condition so I don’t mean to scare you. Also, stay ontop of your calcium, vitamin D/pre natal vitamins. Good luck and hope you get some relief xx
