sterilisation of the breaspumps
How often do people sterilise breast pumps? I am exclusively breastfeeding through pumping due to poor latch and sterilising pump every 3 hours after each use is overwhelming, specially at nights.

@Liza same here. I pump once or twice a day. I rinse between and store in the fridge. I then wash and sterilise them once a day
I had three sets of pump parts that I rotated between and washed and sterilised after each use (my baby was in nicu for the first two weeks of life and didn’t want to take any chances).
I exclusively pump as well. I have 3 sets of pump parts, I do not like the fridge method personally so I sterilise each time I use it. Before night time I make sure all sets are washed and one set is ready to use when I wake up
I pump and put it in storage bags then just rinse it through with boiled water after each pump then sterilise it properly at the end of the day

I sterilise once every 24 hours, but I mix pumping and breastfeeding. At night, I just use the fridge method (store the pump in a container without sterilising it)
