Babies smiling yet?

My LG was 5 weeks old, but we’ve hypothesised that she’s a bit ahead because she was born 10 days overdue. Not sure there’s any confirmed science to that, but she has seemed slightly early with things. It’s usually in the first 8 weeks so still plenty of time

My little girl is 9 weeks today, she only started smiling about 10 days ago. So she should be smiling soon. It’s the best feeling in the world when they react with a smile ❤️

Thanks for this girls 💞 she was born at 38 weeks so not sure if that should be taken into consideration. You just always worry don’t you xx

My eldest didn't smile until about 9 or 10 weeks. We were so worried at the time but now he's a very happy 18 month old who never stops smiling and laughing! Please don't be worried, babies do everything in their own time!

Around 6 weeks

My little boy is 12 weeks but was born 5/6 weeks early so is technically 7 weeks now. It’s only in the last week we have “on demand” smiles by doing some extremely animated talking. It’s not super common though. I have to sound like Ms Rachel.

My little girl is almost 10 weeks and only started smiling about 1-2 weeks ago. I was worried as HV kept asking and she wasnt showing any signs then all of a sudden she started. X
