Spotting after sex

This happened to me , if it stops i wouldn’t worry, i didn’t do anything, but then again everyone is different so maybe just call triage and ask what they think x

it’s normal to be irritated down there after sex when pregnant because everything is so sensitive. i wouldn’t worry unless it’s an extreme amount or if it carry’s on for more then a few hours

Unless you see bright red blood clots then I would call the ob but some pink spotting is completely fine

I had this as well when I was pregnant , nothing to worry about just keep an eye obviously if it gets worse then get medical attention but it’s quite normal

I agree with the ladies above if it subsides after a couple of hours and doesn't get worse worse I wouldn't worry but if you're concerned call triage and get their opinion but they'll probably just say the same thing if it gets worse maybe contact OB suggest monitor it

@Mariah I agree as long as it's nothing more than a little bit and after a few wipes I gave birth to my son at 30 weeks but I had a lot of pink fluid like a mini flood was happening in my bathroom and that is scary enough but you got a lot of blood vessels that are dilated in the private parts so having sex can irritate and burst those blood vessels but pink is usually Amenir fluid so if it does get worse definitely Will continues or more than a few hours then call your OB first thing in the morning because it may or may not be the start of labour I didn't have sex in the letter part of my pregnancy because I was scared of this happening

You might have a friable cervix when pregnant. Did you noticed if he bumped up against it or went especially deep during sex? And the swelling is also pretty normal. Your blood concentrates to the genitals during sex even if you're not pregnant. There's just more swelling and its much more noticeable when pregnant.

This happened to me multiple times in my first pregnancy. My doctor always put me on pelvic rest for a week after this
