Im curious how your heart rate changes throughout
We go to a music/dancey type group and I nearly put it as a dance workout lol, I’m shattered sometimes after them lol
@Mariah I think it averages around 130 but spends a good amount of time around 160, im also still recovering from a abdominal operation so everything is a workout in my opinion 🤣
At one point my son was in mygym but he is too high energy for that I feel he wasn’t able to run around freely so I put him in soccer instead he does much better with that at the moment my gym was a bit too restricted and controlled for him at certain points . Same with parkour that was too restricted and controlled as well for him https://www.mygym.com/valencia
@Frayere all the baby groups love doing the hokey cokey at the end of the sessions and that’s enough for me!! Throwing a toddler around is not easy lmao
We went to the woods yesterday and I spent half the “walk” running after her, a half of it carrying her, and then finished off with carrying her and running at the same time while making engine sounds because she likes us to pretend to be a car and chase her father It’s definitely a work out
@Rhiannon this!! The stair stepper and elliptical can’t compare 😂 so much easier to lift a 10kg weight than a 10kg toddler imo
It's not harder than the gym but if you potty train early or if you don't do much babyproofing then it will be all day. I pretty much only sat down to breastfeed or high chair time or contact naps since crawling and since walking I gave up sitting down for breastfeeding because its too annoying 😅 idk why he won't finish a feed properly if I sit. I have to stand and lunge a leg on a chair and balance him on my leg or he will unlatch after 1 min, run away and come back to relatch again in 1 min for 1 more min its just overstimulating. 😅😅 Playgroups is more like a break as its babyproofed and he isn't a hitter or anything so I can let him run around a bit. Occasionally step in to promote sharing and guide him to interact with others. Playground is similar though more heavy lifting involved as I lift him down off climbing frames (or up if he's too small for the ladder). Agree that a walk outdoors is the ultimate workout my LO will not hold my hand so a lot of carrying is involved!
I would personally not consider it a workout.
Everyone's level of fitness is different and therefore everyone's workout is different. It was a hard lesson for me. I did triathlons in college and stayed relatively fit since. While pregnant, I continued to do a low weight, high rep workout class right up until giving birth. But you know what kicked my ass just as hard? Walking to my MIL's house who is next door. Cardio and weights are different. Your workout on one day is different to the next. So it's really up to you and what you consider a workout. And furthermore, it's up to you on what you track, which partly depends on the reason for tracking. Sometimes I log my yoga session just to see what my heart rate is doing, but I don't really consider it a workout.
Girl fuck her lol
