This is normal especially with first baby because you give everything to baby and we tend to forget to look after ourselves try if you can take time each day even just 15 minutes were you do something for yourself alone

Yeah i get this and a day off works wonders. I appreciate it's difficult if you breastfeeding or maybe don't have the support but if there's any way you can get a day to yourself or even a few hours, it really helps. My parents had my little one for 6 hours this weekend so my husband and I could go see friends and it was soooo nice to just be ourselves without the mental load of baby (as that's what is the hardest part thats prob burning you out-do they need changing, feeding etc what's next on the baby schedule...its literally constant.) Try give yourself a break. X

I hit this wall recently too. I found making sure I got out the house most days to see friends or get some fresh air helped. If the weather is dry, having 15 mins in the garden with a cup of tea and listening to the birds. I also asked family if they could look babysit for 2 hours a week, so I always have that time to look forward to. The hardest thing then, was working out what I could do in those 2 hours as I'd forgotten what I did before having a baby haha!

Apparently at 6 months your hormones start to decrease, so things can seem a little harder - especially with sleep! I have no advice sadly but just wanted to let you know it’s normal to feel this way!

I have had this, my little boy just turned 7 months. My coping mechanism is to do EVERYTHING and keep going….but I’m aware this isn’t sustainable. I think the only reason I’ve got this far is because he’s been a good sleeper. Try and take some time for something that’s just for you and only you. I’m a fitness coach and my own training happens 3 times a week no matter what. It might only be thirty minutes sometimes, but it’s mine. No baby, no cleaning, no cooking, no dog walking. It doesn’t have to be fitness based! I have friends who might go and have their nails or hair done. Pick something for you 👍🏻
