Hi Lori. I’ve been told to call a doctor right away or head to the ER if I was bleeding as much as you are describing. Maybe call just to be on the safe side. They will likely have you come in. I got my period 4 weeks pp and it was heavy but not filling two pads an hour heavy. Please be safe 🙏🏾💗
I didn’t read the last line your message initially- if you are experiencing dizziness upon standing you should probably call 911 :/
I agree. This sounds like an emergency
@Lori checking in. Are you okay?
@Dev I talked to my doctor and they told me to take ibuprofen 600 mg to help the bleeding if it doesn’t stop to go in to er
@Lori okay I’m glad you got some medical advice. Hang in there!
My first period was superr heavy also. I really got scared as well. I was soaking up a pad every hour or so. (Overnight pads). I Also experienced dizziness. I told myself if it didn’t slow down within a few days I would go to the ER. It ended up slowing down in a few days. I already got my period for the second time now and it’s definitely more slow and regular now.
You know your body best and if you feel you need to seek medical advice please see a doctor . In my experience, it was very heavy with blood clots but if the blood clots were a certain size i was told to see a doctor right away. I can’t recall what size it was but I’m thinking g bigger than a quarter or something. Don’t quote me on this since it can be wrong. Maybe call your Obgyn?
