Here for the results 😂

I did the first sneeze/cough, but also the first belly laugh which actually came sooner 😅

I absolutely hated the spinal. So glad i never have to do that again!!! I'm a redhead which traditionally means we need more anesthetic than usual, and i felt every second of that spinal going in. With my third she hit a nerve and oh my god did it hurt. She actually decided to start again, so she took the spinal out and gave me more local anesthetic, which helped a bit. With my second, the anaesthetist just ignored me and kept going 😅😬🫣

The first 💩

The first 💩 for sure 😂 The sneeze/cough/laugh i used to put a small pillow and press it against my wound, it did help a lot 👍

They did my epidural wrong so I could still fill them cutting me open it and pulling her up but it got to the point were I was screaming my head off so much the knocked me out

The spasms

I was really violently sick about 2 hours after so all the drugs had worn off and it felt like it all ripped open 😭 Absolutely horrendous

The sneeze cough, laughing, sleeping . I shitted normal but the 5 day I was constipated with homorrides

I’ve had 2 c-sections. With the first I didn’t get up for almost 12hrs, and the trapped gas pain was UNBEARABLE. The second time I made sure to get up within 2 hrs, and I didn’t have any trapped gas but the first cough was rough. Nothing compared to trapped gas

Profusely vomiting for a long time afterwards and my incision killing every time I retched 😭

The spinal. I get nauseous when I think of it 🙃

The first cough/laugh/sneeze hurt but I had the pillow to press on it. I had no idea that trapped gas was a thing and thought I was messing up breastfeeding so badly that my shoulder hurts 😂

Getting out of bedddddd. Killer

Sleeping/the nurse coming in and pressing down on my stomach, like I wasn’t just chopped open 3 hours ago..

I was on magnesium and had to stay in bed for the first 24 hours so my results may vary but 1000% the first laugh.. I popped 3 sutures because my fiancés got jokes 🥹😅

And get this I was trying to laugh slowly and easy and he tells me I sound like the sloth from zootopia

Nothing hurts like that trapped gas!!!!! Went all the way up to my neck. Their gas medicine didn't work & I did all the walking! Nothing helped, just had to suffer in pain until it left 🙃

The giant bruise I got from my son being pushed out and part of my incision still not being fully healed 🥴

I had a cold when I had my c section and I had a coughing fit that I thought was going to kill me 😩

It took me TWO WEEKS to poop after my c section. It was the first time I was glad for the c section because I would have ripped my cooch open with this massive poop if I had stitches. I about passed out, and I swear It was probably a world record.

The horrendous itching all over the top half of your body directly after surgery 😖

The sepsis I got a week or two after 💀

The cannula in my hand was the worse part. Spinal tap was painless, no trapped wind and the first sneeze/cough was fine. Standing up for the first time and feeling that rush like a period was weird both times though.

@Hannah The exact same happened to me… I could feel everything… When I tell people, it was like a horror film… I saw it all happening too in the reflection of the light above me… I’ve never heard of anyone else experience the same… So incredibly traumatic… I’m really sorry this was your experience…

Twisting! I could do up and down movements but twisting killed me (that burn!) I basically overdosed on peppermint tea as soon as the procedure was over and thankfully avoided any trapped gas 🤞🏻

I hated the feeling of being completely numb, it freaked me out not being able to move my legs!

Worst bit was lying down/ getting up… didn’t have the others

The only negative for me were the shakes immediately after, apparently it’s a somewhat common side effect but I was shaking like a leaf and it was the weirdest feeling ever! I genuinely felt like I was shaking too hard to hold my baby 😩 otherwise though I had a really smooth experience and an easy recovery 🙏🏼 I was up & at it the very next day

I had horrendous bladder cramps/spasms for like 4 days after, I couldn’t sleep with the pain and I just stayed up crying in the hospital. They told me it was my pelvic floor and was nothing they could do..turns out I had a nasty UTI from the catheter which they missed😭

The trapped gas was brutal!

@Robynne I thought I was the only one it was horrific I had to have therapy for PTSD it also took me 16 years to have another baby (I was 15 years old with my first ) sorry you had to experience it aswell

@Hannah me too! I was trying to prevent myself from having a panic attack on the table

I don’t remember the trapped gas everyone talks about or a painful 💩 but I’m having my second c section somewhat soon and now that makes me nervous 🤣 The worst for me was the nurses pressing on my stomach every couple of hours. I almost cried each time, luckily it was quick but very painful. Laying on my side for a week or so After was painful but that’s about it! As long as I remembers to sneeze and cough with a pillow it was fine

The trapped gas! This go around (6 weeks ago), I had such bad trapped gas that it was causing uterine contractions. Like all I needed to do was pass gas to release it, but my body wouldn’t let me. So they were pumping me with laxatives and oxycodone 😅😅
