Final Feed as Formula

Hi Ladies, Up until this point I have been expressing milk to make up a bottle for the final night feed, which my partner gives to baby. It’s worked ok so far, however I’m finding it a little stressful trying to keep pumping and feeding, originally I wanted to build up a supply stash in the freezer however I’m literally only managing to get enough milk for that evenings bottle, usually from a pump that happens on other boob to what baby is feeding from in the morning. I’m going to try having the final bottle as formula so I know baby is getting a good feed before bed. I’ve bought the box of ready made Kendamil first milk, so just wondering how many ounces to give - baby is 14 weeks. Does anyone else do something similar? Thanks!

If they're EBF then 1-1.5 oz per hour between feeds- pace fed. So if there's been 2 hours between then 2-3 oz, 3 hours between then 3-4.5 oz etc x

Ah I was only going to do formula as the last bottle before bed. Will keep breastfeeding for all other feeds!

@Gemma yes I get you. But I mean it depends how many hours it's been since the last BF to how much you would put in the bed time bottle, if you get what I mean x

We started to do a bottle of formula about two or three weeks ago. She is now 13weeks and has anywhere between 90-150mls (which i think is around 3-5oz) depending on when she last fed as her bed time is pretty set but her naps/feeds aren't always the same. For us, it was just a bit of trial and error to see how much she would take.
