Then wash it after the baking soda and vinegar..sorry forgot to finish that š
This pan might be a lost cause now. Never put pans in the dishwasher. Don't use too high of a heat. Not sure what the care instructions are for that pan, did it come with a booklet? What are you scrubbing with? It might be too abrasive. I always wipe my pans out when they are still warm. For stuff that is stuck on, I'll boil some water in it before wiping it out. When I cook eggs, I get a cheap nonstick pan that I use only for eggs. Lots of butter is key š
Please get rid of your nonstick pansā¦they leach nasty chemicals called PFAS which is in short called forever chemicals into your food that take hundreds if not thousands of years to break downā¦not trying to scare you but this is a scientific factā¦stick with stainless steel 18/0 nickel free, carbon steel, cast iron pots
I wanted to get the Hexclad Gordon Ramsay pans, but saw they leach forever chemicals if heated over 500Ā°. I stopped using nonstick pans due to the chemicals (watch Dark Waters with Mark Ruffalo). I mostly use cast iron or stainless steel. I donāt put nonstick in the dishwasher, if I still had them, but I do wash the stainless steel ones in the dishwasher. I usually saw what is happening to yours if it wasnāt greased enough or if it was heated at too high of heat for too long.
add butter!!
Those pans are SHiT. So is any ānon stickā panā¦might be good for a year or so but the non stick coating will ALWAYS eventually wear out, their lifespan is only 3-5yrs IF well looked after (and no dishwasher etc) Get yourself a good carbon steel pan thatās what I use for my eggs and they slide like hockeyās and have been for the last 10yrs (theyāre 15yrs old) Stainless steel is okay but needs to learn heat control and do the water test to make it ādanceāā¦I donāt need to do that with my carbon steel I preheat it until itās smoking, add oil, wait 15secs I add my eggs and wait a minute then turn it. Wait another minute then serve (coz I like mine gooey inside)
Thatās my tiny egg size carbon steel pan, this video was taken March 2021, I still have that pan it still cooks the same. (I have all 3 sizes, from Ikea) Thereās no coating on it besides the seasoning, (layers of polymerised oil) it can become non stick but you need to season it.
@Monique Jose Duvall thatās awesome is your stainless steel nickel free?

Apply a thin layer of oil on a paper towel and heat on medium heat. Then you can use and it should work well next time. Is it ceramic? Only hand wash it and you can use a green scrub pad. If itās really bad you can use some baking soda and vinegar and let it sit with a paper towel.
