Carobel

Hey, My son is recently been put on Carobel to thicken his milk, anyone know if its ok to add during the hotshot? Also once bottle is made it says to consume immediately however my son sometimes doesn’t drink as soon as its made, he decides to have a breakdown before realising he wants milk 😅🤦‍♀️ thank you x

Put in once the mix is drinking temperature ur not suppose to put it in when water is hot. Let it sit for like 3-4 minutes so it thickens and then give to ur baby so 3-4 minutes should accommodate for the melt done first😂 x

@Willow thats what ive been doing then thank goodness 😂 if he doesn’t drink as soon as the 3-4min is up is it still ok to drink so like 15/30 mins after ? Xx

Yh my baby still has his up to an hour afterwards not gonna do any harm x

@Willow thank you, i normally make up a milk before taken eldest to school xx

I have found that if it is left for too long it’s gets too thick and then takes ages for my girl to drink the bottle. How many scoops are you putting in?

@Rachel my son is on 120ml formula and i put one scoop of corobel, hopefully thats right. He seems to not be as sick as before x

mines been on carobel for almost 6 months and i put my scoops in once the bottle is made and then if its not drank straight away, i just follow the formula guidelines (can be left 2 hours if not drank from etc) but extremely rare we get that long x

@Sarah thank you, yes I was doing the same but wanted to see if correct. I can read instructions for days but still worry im doing things incorrectly but so far so good 🙌
