Hot water bottles

I'm currently 10 days post FET and it's freezing in Scotland, so I've been taking a hot water bottle to bed with me at night. I've been trying to keep it near my feet/legs but a few times I've woken up with it near my abdomen/lower back and I'm a bit worried I've ruined my chances of success here. Anyone else done this and had everything work out??

If anything that helps actually.

It should not be near your abdomen or lower back plz

See there's so much conflicting advice on this! Is it not okay as long as your core body temperature isn't too high? Panicking a bit, hope I haven't ruined my chances

You won't have ruined your chances. It won't have changed your core body temperature and there is very little evidence to say that keeping feet/tummy warm makes any difference. Unfortunately there's still so much we don't know about embryo implantation and there isn't enough research into it to know what helps and what doesn't. So doing the things that are within your reach and not worrying about the others is a good shout. (Eating pineapple for example has no evidence and some people make themselves sick with the amount they eat!)

@Charley thank you đź©· it's so hard not to over think every little thing!

I used a hot water bottle/electric blanket as I bled daily with clots from 3 days post FET - I'm now 34 weeks The reason it's not recommended is because you don't want your body to "over heat" but if you go on the NHS website even that recommends them during pregnancy. Just make sure it has a cover
