Milk/food routine 🍼🍓🫐

What is everyone’s 9-10 month olds routine when it comes to milk and weaning/food. I feel like I’m struggling to find the balance/right amount for my lb. How many oz and when, how many meals, what kind of meals, etc?! Would love to know. I’m aware that every baby is different and has different needs. TIA 🩷🩵

I can't help you with oz as I breastfeed but a rough day in the life: 730am feed 830am breakfast 12pm lunch 2pm feed 530pm dinner 7pm feed Breakfast: porridge, Weetabix, crumpets, toast with avocado/other toppings, scrambled eggs, fruit and yoghurt Lunch: this is more 'snacky', pasta, sandwich, broccoli tots, yoghurt, fruit, rosti, omelette, always with a side of cucumber/tomatoes etc Dinner, whatever we are having! So chilli, roast dinner, sausage and mash, chicken curry, jambalaya

We’re messing around with bottles now. She was on 7-7-7-7 for some time but today it’s been 8-6-6-4. Always 3 meals but she’s a bit off her food atm as she’s teething hard.

8.30am wake up and bottle 6oz 9.30/10am breakfast (weetabix with fruit or oats porridge) 11/12pm naptime (varies between 30 mins to an hour sometimes even 2 hours) 1/2pm lunch (rice dhaal/lentils, veg, whatever we are having) 4pm bottle 5oz and 2nd nap 5pm dinner (fruit puree or porridge) 7.30pm bottle 5oz 8-8 30pm bottle 5oz, change, bedtime routine. Sleeps through the night.

4am 8oz 7:30am 6oz (if any is left I’ll mix with cereal) 9am breakfast- Greek yoghurt & fresh fruit or the cereal ^ with fruit. 12pm dinner- pouch with finger food snacks. 2pm 7oz 5pm tea- veg, meat/quorn, mash, gravy. Curry+ rice. Mac & cheese… 7pm 9oz Still on a lot of milk and on the days he drinks less he’s up more in the night.

Oh yeah, I forgot the overnight milk 🤣 my little one still wakes up at least once overnight and will get fed because I'm lazy and don't want to spend hours rocking her to sleep when the boob will knock her out 🤣

7am - 210ml milk 9am - breakfast 11:30 - lunch 3:30/4 - tea 7pm - 210ml milk And the odd snack in between x

Anyone got any advice? My LO doesn’t seem too interested in finishing her bottles still, she prefers her food.

@Libby how many bottles does she have?

@Libby looking for advice too really. My lb started nursery last week and has either been refusing bottles or just drinking 1 5oz bottle xx

@Abi if it's any consolation, my little one doesn't drink at nursery either, but will eat fine. They're 10months now so not too concerned x

Today we have done 7:15 breast 7:45 wake up 8:15 breakfast. 10:15 milk & nap. 1pm food 14:15 milk. She will have milk at about 5 then dinner at 6. Bed probably 8:30 with milk at 9pm. And milk at 3am

@Rachel She has one when she wakes. Then she has breakfast, play time. Nap. Then she has lunch depending on time & then bottle. And then dinner & then bottle for bed x

7am wake 7:30/8am breakfast 9:30am nap for 30/40mins 11:30/12pm lunch 2/2:30pm nap for 1.5 hours 5pm dinner 6:30/45pm 8oz bottle (doesn't always drink all) and bed We sometimes off a 6oz bottle before his afternoon nap but it just depends on how much lunch he's eaten. He is at nursery 4 days a week so they offer snacks at 10am and an afternoon tea at 3:30pm but at home I tend not to
