Hey lovely, I had to get put to sleep due to extreme dental phobia. It was a pretty smooth experience to be honest. I was admitted, put to sleep, procedure done and I was out all same day. I can't remember what i ate to be honest (it was in 2019) but remember expecting to be absolutely dreadful but I was all good in no time 😊

I did about three months ago. It was really painful the first two days I didn’t really eat much. Cream of wheat and ice cream lol and lots of ibuprofen and make sure you have a lot of ice packs so you can switch them out

My strategy was to just count as they are putting the thing on you, also whatever you do, don’t use a straw! I gave in because it was challenging to eat and now I have a small overlap on my gums :( (taking years to heal)

I have a fear of being put to sleep but it wasn’t bad. The pain was manageable with meds, just really gross how bloody your mouth is directly after. I mean really gross. I tried to eat a few hours after but found it too difficult so I waited a day. Tbh I had a lot of ice cream those first few days.
