Elective csection

I want to know if anyone has had a bad elective C-section experience. I’m confused about whether I should choose a VBAC because I feel the recovery might be easier. My first emergency C-section recovery was extremely challenging 😥 Although I understand the risks, I’m still afraid of another difficult recovery. What issues did you face later for your elective Csection?

I had two positive elective c sections. I personally found that I recovered better and quicker the second time. Whether that’s because I knew what to expect 🤷🏼‍♀️

I had a planned and I’ll do it all over again . No issues at all

My first was elective section due to medical advice and honestly it was the best experience and recovery. I was dreading it as I’ve got friends who had emergency cscections so only knew their recovery stories but mine was completely different xx

Thank you ladies. Its good to know elective has worked for you all in terms of recovery. I don’t know why I go back to the thought of having VBAC. Its just that my recovery was so horrible the first time so Im scared to go through it again but I know VBAC might have its own issues.
