Everyone is different when it comes to post-partum body, so try not to put too much pressure on yourself (I know this is easier said than done). I'm almost 2 stone down now after having my daughter at the end of July, but this final bit of weight will not shift! And the 'shelf' is notoriously difficult to get rid of. Diet changes and lots of exercise (even just frequent walks) and you'll get to where you want to be lovely x

It took me almost 3 years. I’d didn’t work out tho ngl.

6 months you’ll notice a difference. Feel back to yourself by one year.

I had diastasis recti and a bulging belly button during pregnancy. I’m 8 months pp and must say I shouldn’t complain and have a flat belly but ofcourse it’s not my old belly..the belly button still looks odd

If theres no issues then by 6 months a noticeable difference. By 1 year you’ll probably be back to what you were before… give or take

I never got my pre pregnancy belly back. Your body is forever changed.

@Gabrielle it is.. but at the same time, I did get a "normal" belly back after a few months with my first, just not quite as flat and toned as before - if a stranger saw my belly they would have probably struggled to say if I'd had a child or not. My belly button always looked a bit "sad" after too 😅 we shall see how a 2nd plus c section changes things... 🙈

Anywhere from a few weeks to never. My kid is 9 and my belly has never returned to its pre baby self. But it carried a baby and I’m proud of that and proud of its post baby shape.

Thanks all for the reply. I remember I recovered very quickly for my first. But for this time… it seems recovering slow… my daughter is now 3 months old and my belly is still huge 🥹
