I refuse to buy one💀 i dont understand the hype and i think its way over priced
My little boy was gifted one before he was 1 I thought it was too young, but he absolutely loved and still loves it, the stories are nice , it’s not screen time, he has a cosy corner and takes himself off to listen to it, likes a music one at bedtime, he’s listening to longer stories now, his speech and language is incredible. Highly rate the tonie box. Also he can work it himself. Top tip all tonies characters are the same price, some are really short, check the run time on the back of the packet before buying, as some don’t really seem worth the price when they’re only 15 mins vs one that’s over an hour . My boy even knows the words to loads of the songs on his
100% I couldn’t rate ours more x
@Philippa this sounds great and exactly what i’m hoping to achieve with my daughter. I want to limit her screen time and help with her along with her speech!
@Liv thank you 🙏🏾
@Asia I will look into the Yoto box as well since they are similar! Thank you!!
@Chloe understandable!!
I was torn between a Yoto or a Tonies, ended up going for the Yoto, we haven’t used it yet as it’s for Christmas though. Yoto seems to have more benefits too
I don’t understand them. I read to my child.
@Lisa they’re portable so can be used for things like car journeys etc, helps reduce screen time, I will still read to my child but he can also have this too
@Frayere we have discs for stories if we need them in the car. They are like £15 for one character/ story, just buy a book.
I read to my child and buy her loads of books but sometimes she likes to listen to her own songs/stories, she’s a very independent little lady. It’s silly to assume people don’t read or buy their child books.
@Lisa we have plenty of books. I don’t get why you have an issue with it? Like you said, you don’t understand it, so move on. If people want to buy them for their children then that’s fine 👍🏼
@lisa we also read hundreds of books to our children this is just a great item that our 2.5yo loves as well as all the books we read. If it’s not for you move on rather then telling people not to buy something their children are loving. implying that we don’t read to our children isn’t necessary either

@Frayere the post asked for peoples opinions. I gave mine, that they aren’t worth the price, and you decided to keep @ing me…..
@Lisa you said you didn’t understand, so I gave some examples lol. And yes of course I @‘d you, I was replying to you 🤣 like you did with me. Anyway, I’ve made my point, and you’ve made yours.
@Lisa thanks for your opinion! I also read to my child.
Incognito- I’m not saying anyone doesn’t read to their child but you can go to the works and buy 10 books for £10 when one tonie book is £15 and you’ve also got to buy the thing to start with! So in my opinion, considering they gain so much more by you reading to them, to answer your question, I don’t think they are worth it.
Best thing we've ever bought!! My daughter used to have real issues getting to sleep at night, so after we've read her books, she chooses her bedtime tonie and drifts off listening to lullaby's or bedtime stories xx
My 3yr old loves hers, she got it last Christmas and loves the one with the music especially from her favourite films
I think maybe if someone has never used it then makes it difficult to comment on whether it’s worth the price or not.. because how would you know
I think tonies offer it too, but on the Yoto you can also record yourself reading stories too, or have family members do it which would be really nice if they don’t get to see them often!
Thank you all!!💕🙏🏾
I like Yoto better 🎄
Yoto over a tonie!
My 2 year old was just gifted on last month and has zero interest lol
I like mine but my baby is only 7 months. I’d compare the tonie box to the Yoto box and see which one you think you’d like more for your two year old.
