Bathing

3 nights a week x

My baby is 3 weeks and 3 days . I waited until her belly button fell off, and i wasnt very inspired to bathe her before feeding her. She started to cry so hard and the bathing lasted just for 5 minutes max 😅 after a few days she become very sick, we went to a&e . Got send home . Since then , i only use fiziologic serum to clean her face , and only washing her in the nappy area with cotton pads and warm water.

Yes i waited for stub to fall off too and only going to bath once a week with just water and not for long as get cold quickly. Just wanted to see what everyone else is doing. @Ana I hope your girl is ok now ?

Yes she’s way better thanks God! Was only adviced to use saline drops for her nose and than use the aspirator for the mucus. Making hot steam in the bathroom and stay inside the bathroom with the baby. I also used 2 chopped slices of onion in my room during the night. And since wednesday is the first night i didnt have to clear her mucus in order for her to eadt or sleep 🙏🙏🙏

Every 2-3 days generally with our toddler. He likes being in there, hates being taken out. Think that is the cold. Our toddler loves having baths with him and helping to wash him.

Once or twice a week x

About two/three times a week, today I'll get the log burner going and give him a bath near it so he's nice and warm during and after.

We didn’t bathe our little boy in a bath until 4 weeks as those first 4 weeks is when their microbiome is doing its thing and bathing disrupts it - was advised by HV about this and researched it myself. But now we do it every 3 days sometimes 4, and do top and tail the days he doesn’t have a bath x
