no that’s pretty good. if baby wants it then keep giving. my 5 week old has just started to finish a 5oz every 3/4 hours xx

No that's what my formula box says for 4-8 week olds, but as above just follow her lead.

Mine has 5 every 3 hours also x

My baby girl is having 60 ml every 2 hours. She was very greedy and was eating 90 ml every 3,4 hours but was vomiting so much. Now we are increasing slowly, and she s having 70, 80 ml but most of the times still 60ml /2 ounces and a bit . My daughter is 3 weeks and 3 days old. She was born at 38 weeks and was 2,900 kg.

Mines takes around between 4-5oz every 3-4 hours. I give what he wants, sometimes it’s less sometimes it’s more. I make a bottle of 5oz each time now and see what he takes. I pace feed too so baby doesn’t miss his own cues for feeling full. Formula box is just a guidance. Based on the weight it said my baby was at 4-8 week mark when he was born 😂🙈 but he wasn’t having anywhere near as much as it recommended, but was putting on weight amazingly, so it really is just a ‘guide’. As long as baby isn’t being really sicky, and is putting on steady weight for them then it sounds like you’re doing a fab job xx

This has really put my mind at ease, Thankyou so much everyone 🥰

My 6 week old was on 5 oz by literally week 3/4, now he's gone back down between 2.5-5oz, usually around 4. I think they just take what they need and it may change and reduce again for you rather than keeping on climbing. Try not to overthink it, i was very stressed about it in the first month or so but it's something you can't really control, if they're hungry they're hungry xx
