My baby is 8 months and wasn’t too interested in food for a long time, I think because her teeth were still coming through. Now she has 4 and she’s ready to eat and try new things. But for some reason the whole food thing stresses me out. Making sure she’s trying enough things, what to try, being consistent. I dont ...
MIL took 2 year old out for a picnic for a couple hours, 2 year old had standard picnic food but also 3 biscuits, an ice cream, a lollipop and a packet of haribo I’ve never given any haribo or lollipops ever before and now my kid is very ridiculously hyper, do I say something? Am I allowed to be annoyed
So I gave me and my daughter an ice-cream. She ate all hers and then wanted mine too. So I said no you had your own and then she started having a complete meltdown and screaming. I obviously gave her some but I told her she had her own etc so she can understand. What would you do in that situation?
Really random, but what do you do for meals when you are out and about with your babies? Now the weather is getting better I’m trying to do more day trips with my little one, usually I take a packed lunch but if we were at home he would have quite a substantial meal for his lunch but I find all the cafés or food pl...
Anyone else’s LO that’s started weaning just hate it? We’ve only tried broccoli, avocado and potato so far but she absolutely hates it, will happily put spoon in mouth with nothing on but as soon as foods on she won’t 😑
Hello I'm planning to give my baby his first meal tomorrow which will be puréed sweet potato. I believe the recommendation is 1 meal a day. I'm starting quite late as he is nearly 7 months but he's ready for food now. Mama's is there a specific time in the day you'd feed baby this 1 meal a day? Like example afternoo...
Hey all, I'm bringing my baby with us to an event at a restaurant and it's around her dinner time (she's 6.5 months) should I bring a little cup of puree or something? Or just put her in a highchair while we eat?
Since being on solids only, my girl has climbed from 45th to 70th centile. So I feel we are clearly overfeeding her. But she usually finishes everything so we just assumed ahe was still hungry and gave her more 😞 could someone please share what appropriate portion sizes are? For example she has porridge every…
My 19 month old is such a fussy eater! Will only eat a sandwich at dinner - which she’s now refusing and at tea time will only have certain meals aswell. We’ve tried new meals but she throws it and goes to bed hungry. Does anyone have any advice or even going through the same thing? Feel like I’m going insane!
Is anyone else's baby refusing purée and only doing BLW ( a few mouthfuls if that) My baby turns head / starts crying if I try to feed him with spoon. If I try giving him the spoon with food on he then just plays with it. I'm just concerned he's not eating enough
Hi everyone, Can anyone tell me how their routine with breastfeeding and solids? Anybody else have a 17 month old who has never been great with food.. but omg, meal times are so unsuccessful everytime! He survives on bananas, eggs, toast, yoghurt and berries! It’s such a battle. So jealous of people who have kids that have just taken to food!
Is it okay that I don’t give my 8 month old food/purée everyday? Sometimes he will just have formula in the day and others he will have maybe a pouch and some fruit or biscuit to eat not really full meals.
What are you feeding your los for tea? I struggle to cook for myself so most nights I'm not having a lot myself but need something quick for lo. She will only eat if she can feed herself she hates me feeding her on a spoon
How are you all introducing solid foods? Do your little eat with a spoon or on a plate ? I can’t get mine to really eat unless it’s from a bottle … any suggestions or tricks ?
