toilet training- not interested
i’ve been put under a lot of pressure by the nursery to start toilet training my LO, i have no idea what i am doing he hates being nappy free, has zero interest in using the toilet or the potty, just cries…surely this is him saying he isn’t ready?!

Mines the same! He doesn’t want to even go on the potty he gets really upset about it.
Speak to nursery and ask why - is it because he is showing an interest there? We potty trained our now 2.5y old at 2 as he would copy the older kids at nursery. Or is it because it suits them? As sad is it is to say they will know your child’s day to day routine and he might behave differently with them then he does with you. I would have a meeting with them to discuss a plan :)
